HYDROSTATIC TEST

Following the norms and ensuring a better safety to their co-workers, Brastech invested in an installation to perform hydrostatics tests for heavy duty equipment, that protects even more Brastech co-workers in the execution of the test.

Brastech test area is a differential and it has 32 meters long with 2,5 m wide by 2,5 meters of deepness, ideal for heavy duty equipment, like drilling risers and telescopic joints. Our installation offers the highest levels of safety, through a tests cabin totally isolated for the operator protection.

To guarantee the quality on the repair of equipment is the objective of the hydrostatic test. An evaluation performed with the utilization of pumps and executed through the application of fluid to the pipes and connections sets, with pressures over the service pressure. With this evaluation, Brastech guarantees that the equipment is able to be used in the oil drilling process.
